The internet is known for being a fast platform for gathering information, holding conversations, and making purchases in the modern world. What some don’t realize is that it can also be a place to make some quick money, if you know what to do. You might not become a millionaire overnight, but there are some easy tasks you can take on when you need cash in your pocket. Here are some tips to help you do just that.
If you have a bunch of valuables that you no longer want or need, you could sell them on the internet. Most people would jump to eBay at that point, but the fees from that site may eat away at your profits. Shipping costs, posting fees, payment fees, and the like all add up in the end. If you can manage to sell your items to someone local on Craigslist, do that first. Just make sure you meet in a neutral public space to protect yourself and the other person. If you manage to make a few bucks for your time, the ad paid off.
If you don’t have anything to sell, you might want to make money off the stuff you’re keeping. How? By writing reviews about them to post online. If you write a legitimate review about a product, you can post it on Ukritic along with an affiliate link (usually from Amazon). If people follow the link and make a purchase, you get paid. The review will take you no time at all to write, and it will continue to make money for you in the background. Do a little promoting, and you’ll be racking up the dough in no time.
You could use a site like MTurk (sponsored by Amazon) to pick up simple tasks to make money from. These will range from sending a test fax to taking a survey online. You may not make a ton of money by doing these things, but you will make more than you would sitting around. If you happen to find work that you do quickly and well, you could actually turn this into a second income. All it takes is a little elbow grease, or in this case keyboard dust, to get extra money for bills.
. Put forth a tiny bit of work, and the web will reward you financially.
